Kylie Jenner reveals her battle with postpartum depression after giving birth

Kylie Jenner has candidly shared her experience with postpartum depression.

The 27-year-old television personality opened up about her experience as a mother in her early 20s in a recent interview with British Vogue magazine for its September cover story.

The Kylie Cosmetics founder revealed that she experienced postpartum depression for about a year after the birth of her children.

It's worth mentioning that Kylie shares a 6-year-old daughter, Stormi, and a 2-year-old son, Aire, with her ex Travis Scott.

“I'm turning 27 and I finally feel like myself again,” Kylie told the outlet.

She went on to say: “And [looking back] “I think being pregnant, I was wearing sweatpants every day, I didn't have time to think about some of the little things in my life, and then postpartum lasted a year. Mentally, it's very hard. Hormonally, it's very hard.”

Kylie further noted that the symptoms affected her more severely after her second pregnancy.

“It affected me differently both times. With my son it was probably a lot of postpartum depression, so I got really emotional about things that I probably wouldn’t feel that emotional about.” [typically]”, she said.

“I was on the phone with my mom all day crying hysterically, saying, 'I can't remember her name.'” The Kardashians star added.
