King Charles reportedly pressured Prince William to celebrate his estranged brother Prince Harry's 40th birthday in public forums.
According to a new report, the Prince of Wales had to share a post to wish the Duke of Sussex a great day and insiders claimed it was simply a gesture to “align” with King Charles' message.
Speaking on the issue, royal biographer Ingrid Seward claimed William had to put his ego aside to wish Harry a happy birthday, adding that his message came “through gritted teeth”.
She suggested the Prince of Wales was pressured to repost the birthday wish to avoid appearing out of sync with the royal family and to maintain family unity.
“King Charles is said to have celebrated his son's 40th birthday remotely,” the expert said. The mirror.
She added: “Major birthdays are important for the royals. Any upset Harry may have caused would have been forgotten by that day.”
“Even Prince William wished his brother a happy birthday, albeit through gritted teeth,” she noted.
“She doesn't trust him, but together with her family, she wished him the best on his important birthday.”
