King Charles was officially crowned British monarch in May last year, Prince William is the heir to the throne.
Britain's King Charles has been advised that the monarch should consider sharing more responsibilities with Prince William and his “dear daughter-in-law” Kate Middleton amid growing calls for his abdication.
speaking to GB NewsAmerican journalist Lee Cohen said that Prince William and Kate Middleton are already doing an “excellent job.”

He told presenter Mark Dolan that the Prince and Princess of Wales are very good ambassadors for the UK. “Charles took on the role after waiting a lifetime.
“I would hate to see any diminution of your duties and responsibilities. He came to the throne at the age of 73, making him the oldest person to assume the throne.”
The royal commentator further says, “I think his mother was 26 when she took the throne, so she has a much shorter runway and track record.”
He continued: “Age being what it is, I might have less energy and look to share some of the responsibilities, which wouldn't be a terrible thing.”

Lee Cohen's comments came as King Charles faces growing calls to abdicate and hand the crown to his eldest son and heir to the throne, Prince William.
