King Charles has apparently shown Prince Harry his true position by turning down the Christmas invitation.
Her Maiesty, who has not invited her own son to Sandringham's Christmas celebrations, has asked her stepson to join in the festivities.
Royal expert Richard Eden, of the Daily Mail's Palace Confidential, said: “It's very significant that Tom will be there, perhaps his sister Laura too, but that hasn't been confirmed yet.
“Tom said his mother often suggested he join them, but he always said no,” she added. “To have the king's stepson there, but not his son, is significant.”
This comes as Queen Camilla's son Tom Parker Bowles spoke about the Royals' Christmas treat.
He told The Telegraph: “My mum said, 'I'd love for you to come, I haven't had Christmas with you for a long time,'” Tom shares.
“For the last 15 years it's been like this: I go back to my ex-wife's house, sit in my sweatpants, go to the pub while the meat is ready and then try to get my kids to watch The Wild Geese. Classic. Like that “This would be a little different,” he said.
