King Charles makes first major statement amid Kate Middleton photo controversy

Britain's King Charles has shared his first major statement amid new controversy sparked by Kate Middleton's latest photo.

Kensington Palace released the first photo of Kate Middleton following her surgery in January to mark Mother's Day on Sunday.

The photo was shared with Kate Middleton's sweet message that reads: “Thank you for your kind wishes and continued support over the past two months.

“I wish you all a Happy Mother's Day. C.”

Shortly after the palace published the image, several major news agencies retracted the photo of the Princess of Wales with growing concerns about image manipulation.

According to royal expert Chris Ship, at least three international photo agencies refuse to distribute photographs of Kate and her children. Some of them (AP) have stated that “the source [the palace] “He has manipulated the image.”

In the midst of these statements, King Charles issued his statement while the monarch recorded a video message to be played in the 56 countries of the Commonwealth.

King Charles says: “I will continue to serve you to the best of my ability.”
