King Charles has handed a major royal role to former football legend David Beckham amid his split from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

David Beckham has reportedly been appointed ambassador of the King's Foundation by King Charles, giving his knighthood credentials a boost.

The foundation offers holistic solutions to the challenges facing the world today.

“We champion a sustainable approach to the way we live our lives and build our communities, run a diverse program of education and training for all ages and backgrounds, and regenerate and care for places where communities thrive and visitors enjoy,” the charity claims.

The appointment was announced on Saturday.

Previously, there were rumors that Victoria Beckham and David had supposedly ended their friendship with their old friends Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.
