Kate Middleton Hospital has apparently launched an investigation into allegations of breaches of privacy.
The Princess of Wales, who underwent abdominal surgery at The London Clinic, experienced a threat to her privacy when staff allegedly tried to sneak into her medical records.
According to Mirror.co.uk, an insider revealed: “This is a major security breach and incredibly damaging for the hospital, given its unblemished reputation for treating members of the Royal Family.”
He added: “Senior bosses at the hospital contacted Kensington Palace immediately after being informed of the incident and assured the palace that a full investigation would be carried out. “All medical staff were completely shocked and distressed by the allegations and were deeply hurt that a trusted colleague could have allegedly been responsible for such a breach of trust and ethics.”
While the London clinic remained silent on the claims, they stated: “We firmly believe that all our patients, regardless of their condition, deserve complete privacy and confidentiality regarding their medical information.”
