Kanye West's livestream goes blank due to 'controversial' rap

Kanye West's livestream of the Vultures album was interrupted for a while after he used a “controversial” word during the rap.

Wearing an all-black outfit and a Jason Voorhees mask, the 46-year-old rapper premiered his new tracks during a listening party Thursday at the United Center in Chicago.

The broadcast was cut off immediately after he rapped. “And I'm still crazy, bipolar, anti-Semitic / And I'm still the king.”

As soon as Kanye said “king,” the screen went black and silent.

However, the stream eventually continued, giving fans the chance to witness cameos from Kanye's partner, Ty Dolla $ign, and his 10-year-old daughter, North West.

Just days before the virtual concert, the Grammy winner shared that he was having trouble booking stadiums for concerts and apparently suggested it was due to his “anti-Semitic rants.”

Earlier this week, daily mail reported that Kanye shared a video and text post where he revealed that he had been having difficulty booking venues and said, “And you know why.”
