Jon Bon Jovi recently opened up about the time his daughter overdosed on heroin.
For those who don't know, the legendary singer shares four children with his high school sweetheart and wife, Dorothea Bongiovi.
They are the couple's only daughter, Stephanie, and their sons Jesse, Jake, whom she will soon marry. Netflix Strange things star Millie Bobby Brown and Romeo.
In 2012, the star's eldest daughter, Stephanie, allegedly overdosed on heroin and called her father from the hospital.
Recalling the moment, Jon shared, “It was horrible, a horrible moment,” according to OK Magazine.
He went on to admit, “It was my worst moment as a father.”
“The first thing he said was okay, but then he said this is what happened. You wake up, you shake off your clothes, you put your shoes on and you say, 'Okay, I'm on my way home,'” she said. Bon Jovi the leader recalled.
In a previous talk with MirrorJon said of Stephanie's drug abuse: “We went through something that a lot of parents go through, a lot more than I thought.”
“A lot more people who have been in my life who I had no idea had gone through it with their own children at one point or another,” he added at the time.
