Jon Bon Jovi recently opened up about his vocal surgery.

He went on to explain his passion for singing by saying, “I have sung with Pavarotti. I know how to sing.”

“I have studied the trade for 40 years. I'm not a stylist who just barks and howls. “I know how to sing,” she insisted.

Jon also addressed his initial thoughts about the vocal cord injury, saying, “So when God was taking away my ability, and I couldn't understand why, I jokingly said the only thing I'd ever gotten up my nose was my finger, you I know, so there is no reason for any of this.”

“So the strong one pushed the weak one aside and I didn't sing well,” he continued.

“So they were taking away my job,” he said before mentioning the surgeon who helped him recover his voice through a “state-of-the-art implant,” and moved on to another topic.
