A new animated feature film based on Bob the Builder is in progress, and Jennifer López is attached to the Mattel Films project as a producer.
Details related to the film also revealed that Anthony Ramos will be behind the microphone for the lead character.
Although the director's announcement is not revealed, the script will be written by Felipe Vargas.
Meanwhile, the story follows Roberto or Bob working a construction job in Puerto Rico after traveling there.
Bob as he “addresses the issues affecting the island and delves into what it means to build. Bob's journey will celebrate the vibrant and colorful textures of the Latin Caribbean nations and their people,” the official tagline reads.
Regarding the project, Mattel Films president Robbie Brenner said: “Combining Anthony and Felipe's brilliant vision for the story will capture this beloved character in a way that audiences who grew up with Bob will recognize and completely new audiences will enjoy.” .
