Beetlejuice Beetlejuice Star Jenna Ortega has shared her preference when it comes to iconic bands Oasis and Blur.
This comes after Noel and Liam Gallagher ended their 15-year feud and announced a reunion of their band Oasis. The duo are also set to go on tour, which has left fans in a frenzy.
Despite the online frenzy over the band's reunion, Wednesday star Jenna Ortega was none the wiser. During a recent interview with NME next to her Beetlejuice Beetlejuice Co-star Catherine O'Hara, the actress said: “I had no idea they were back together.”
He then turned to ask O'Hara which band he prefers, which one Schitt's Creek The star replied Oasis, then realised what the question was and said: “I don't participate in taking sides.”
Jenna then revealed her own preference, saying, “Can I be honest? I actually listened to 'Wonderwall' for the first time about a month ago.”
“I actually sat down and listened to the whole thing. It was something that an ex attacked me for not knowing about. I listen to Blur. I haven’t really gotten into Oasis,” Ortega continued, choosing Blur. “I don’t really have a history with Oasis and listening to Oasis I don’t really listen to it,” he added.
Oasis and Blur have had a long-standing rivalry, with the two Britpop bands battling it out for the top spot in the charts at their peak.
However, in recent years the feud has become virtually non-existent with Oasis' Noel Gallagher and Blur's Damon Albarn collaborating on Gorillaz's 2017 song. We have the power.
Jenna Ortega and Catherine O'Hara were promoting their upcoming film Beetle Beetle, which will be released in theaters on September 6.
