Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio, who starred together in Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood, have drifted apart and now see each other as rivals.
According In weekly contact, The Hollywood superstars have no plans to work together again and are competing for the same scripts, directors and investments.
Speaking to the publication, a source revealed that the fight club The Titanic alum and star have been cheating on each other since working together on the 2019 comedy-drama film.
“They have no plans to work together again and see Once upon a time… in Hollywood as something unique,” the informant said. “They've become pretty strong competitors with each other again.”
“They look for the same scripts and the same directors and there is a lot of overlap,” they continued. “Also, his companies have a similar structure, but Brad's Plan B has seen a massive influx of investment that has yet to materialize for Leo's company, Appian Way. He is working towards it and deserves that kind of windfall, but he hasn't closed a deal yet.”
The source added that Pitt has an advantage with “big directors,” including Quentin Tarantino, who prefers working with him over DiCaprio.
Pitt has also “monopolized” his relationship with David Fincher, so Leo is unlikely to collaborate with him, the source added.
