Now, a close friend of Grosvenor has revealed the seventh Duke of Westminster's reaction to William and Harry's split, saying: “It is incredibly sad that it has come to this.
“Hugh is one of the few close friends of William and Harry who has maintained strong ties… with both of them,” Grosvenor's close friend added.
According to a report by Marie Clairethe friend further claimed that Grosvenor “wishes” the brothers “could put their heads together and work things out,” although the groom-to-be apparently realizes that such a scenario is unlikely.
“He wanted to avoid anything overshadowing the day, especially for Olivia, and he doesn't want any discomfort,” the friend continued.
