'Game of Thrones' star Hannah Waddingham opens up about being bullied for her appearance
Hannah Waddingham just took a trip down memory lane and made a rare confession.
During the last episode of BBC'podcast Rule breakershe game of Thrones The actress intervened in her professional career as an actress.
In doing so, Waddingham claimed that one of his drama teachers made fun of his appearance in front of the entire class and claimed that he would never be able to work on screen.
Speaking to broadcaster Michelle Vissage, the English actress said: “I had a drama teacher who said to the whole class: 'Oh, Hannah will never work on screen because it looks like one side of her face has suffered a stroke'”, as according to the findings of daily mail.
The 49-year-old star then expressed her conviction, saying: “I thought, 'I'll do it.' Against all odds, I will work on the screen.'”
It is pertinent to mention here that in her career Hannah bagged numerous acting jobs and achieved accolades such as Emmy, Critics' Choice Awardand Screen Actors Guild Award.
Before concluding the confessional, the acting sensation also revealed, “That's why, in my Emmy speech, I made one point: the only thing I ever told myself [was]If this strange moment comes and I get this award, and I put my foot in this door,” declaring, “I'm going to rip it off its hinges so that the musical theater people, or the theater people, will follow me,” after which She moved on to the next topic.
