Very happy to have seen it one last time. If there is a sky, you have them in [stitches]. “
Lowe was born on November 10, 1957 in Dunedin, Florida, and worked on the radio before moving on to voice performance in the 1990s. He was also a visual artist and art collector, according to the American Visionary Art Museum, who finally accumulated hundreds of works, including Andy Warhol's pop art impressions, Claes Oldenburg and others.
Space Ghost, who originated in the 1960s in CBS (courtesy of Hanna-Barbera Productions), evolved in the 1990s of a serious fighter of supervillain of the outer space in an irreverent presenter of interviews in a program that mixed lively animation and action.
“Space Ghost Coast to Coast” was announced as the first night show to present a cartoon superhero such as his host, and during his career from 1994 to 1999, and outside and outside until 2012, he welcomed “guests”, including Björk, Adam Carolla, Conan O'Brien, Bob Costas and Michael Stipe de Rem, to name a few. The guests were filmed live and inserted in the animated program.
At the premiere, the Diet Guru Susan Powter, the comic Kevin Meaney and the Bee Gees were the guests of Space Ghost, accompanied by their television band, directed by the old Moltar and Zorak archenemies.
Lowe took over the concert of the space ghost of the “Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In” Gary Owens, who expressed the superhero during his first and more serious periods in the sixties and eighties. Owens, who died in 2015, made a cameo as a replicant of space ghosts “Gary” in an episode of season 5 of “coast to coast”. In the episode, Lowe's Space Ghost destroyed the Owens replicant.
“The best thing about Space Ghost is that he will return at a time when heroes like X-Men and Batman are especially popular,” said former Cartoon Network executive, Mike Lazzo, The Times in 1994. “Here we have a hero working with his former enemies and there is a completely Scottish and crazy twist, doing something for both children and their parents.”
Lowe expressed numerous papers in adult swimming shows that include “Robot Chickn”, “The Brak Show” and “Aqua Teen Hunger Force”, and in 2024 Space Ghost in the episode of season 3 “Space with” Jellystone! ” The voice actor spent time in recent years meeting with fans in several comics and similar meetings.
Art by Lowe is hung in the high art museum of Atlanta, the Georgia Museum in Athens, Georgia, the Polk Museum in Lakeland, Florida, and the American Museum of Visionary Art in Baltimore, according to the last museum's website.
