Actor Floyd Levine, whose career covered numerous decades and a variety of projects ranging from the “The Hangover” and “Norbit” films to television programs “Melrose Place” and “Murder, wrote,” he has died. I was 93 years old.
Levine died on Sunday, surrounded by family and “probably wishing someone to bring him a Martini,” his daughter -in -law Robbins on Instagram announced on Tuesday. Robbins, who is married to Levine's son, former Paramount executive Brian Robbins, said Levine was “the best father -in -law, grandfather and Jokester.”
Levine began her race on the screen in the early 1970s and appeared in almost 100 productions. Their notable credits also include the films “Dog Day late”, “Bloodbrothers”, “Super Fly” and the television series “Kojak”, “Starsky & Hutch”, “Baywatch” and “Days of Our Lives”. He often played minor characters, including police officers, detectives, tailors, doctors and a crime leader.
A former taxi taxi driver from New York City, Levine also collaborated with her son in Eddie Murphy Starers “Norbit”, “meets Dave” and “A thousand words.” Robbins was inspired by his father to follow an entertainment career and was also an actor, director and producer of a lifetime before becoming an industry executive. The father-son duo also appeared in “Archie Bunker's Place” and “Head of the Class”. They also worked together at “Good Burger”, “Kenan & Kel” and “Coach Carter”.
“Brian is basically his twin, and we will see Floyd's smile every time we look at him,” Tracy Robbins added in his Instagram publication.
“You have all made my sugar life, and I love you very much,” he tells loved ones in a video shared by Robbins. “If I could do it, I would hug them and kiss them all. God bless everyone and keep hitting.”
Levine was buried on Wednesday. In addition to Brian and Tracy Robbins, survivors also include their daughter Sheryl, are Marc and several grandchildren, according to The Hollywood Reporter. His wife, Rochelle, died in May 2022 at 85.
“I would like to think that there is a casting call in the sky, and you appeared early, the script in your hand,” Tracy Robbins added in his publication. “I will miss him a lot, but I know he is already making Los Angeles laugh and back with his beautiful wife Rochelle.”
