Television's biggest night has arrived… again. Yes, there was a ceremony in January when the 75th Emmy Awards were postponed due to the historic Hollywood double strike, which was cancelled in September. But any excuse is welcome to celebrate the best of television and the best fashion among TV stars and creators.
Selena Gomez wore one of the standout looks of the night. Her custom-designed Ralph Lauren Collection halter gown featured more than 600 diamond-cut crystals on the neckline. Jennifer Aniston also kept it simple and elegant at the awards show, held at LA Live's Peacock Theater, in a strapless silver Oscar de la Renta gown embellished with pearls.
Sofia Vergara dazzled in a strapless Dolce & Gabbana gown with a plunging neckline. Janelle James, Anna Sawai, Niecy Nash-Betts, Nava Mau and Gillian Jacobs were among the stars who wore a radiant red. Others dazzled in pale pink, another popular colour this evening.
Jeremy Allen White, Matt Bomer, Alan Cumming, Andrew Scott and Jonathan Bailey were among the actors who put their best foot forward. Many of the men opted for kilts, cummerbunds and tie-less outfits. Hosts and father-son duo Eugene Levy and Dan Levy also looked dapper, taking inspiration from their fashionable “Schitt’s Creek” characters.
