Eddie Murphy has proven himself to be a great dad and will be an even cooler grandpa given the way he views his eldest son Eric's relationship with Jasmin Lawrence.
He Beverly Hills Police The star had appeared in CBS Mornings on Tuesday when she shared her thoughts on dating her children, those of her former Boomerang co-star Martin Lawrence.
“They’re both beautiful,” Eddie said. “They look amazing together. And it’s fun.” [because] all [asks]”What's going to be funny about that baby?” Eddie told the host.
“Only our genetic makeup will make this baby fun,” she continued. “If they ever get married and have a child, I hope the child is fun.”
Martin, 59, shared a similar sentiment about his potential grandson in an interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in June 2022, when she joked that the couple conceived a “super sitcom baby” at some point.
The father of ten also revealed that he and Eddie “stay out of their business… and respect their own.”
Eric and Jasmin first went Instagram official in June 2021, when he shared a selfie of the two and captioned it, “I'm madly in love with YOU.”
Jasmin revealed to InTouch Weekly who met Eric through his uncle and they became good friends.
“It wasn't even [through] “Our parents,” Jasmin told the outlet in January 2022. She added that they grew closer over time and that their families have been supportive of their relationship.
