Drew Barrymore says she hates 'liars': 'You're concise'

One of the things Drew Barrymore didn't like was lying, especially when it came to online dating.

Sharing your experience in The Drew Barrymore Show the Shout The actress revealed that a potential suitor on the dating app lied about his identity to impress her.

“This guy on my dating app said he was the quarterback of the Los Angeles Rams. So I texted him and said, 'Oh my God, I went to the first scrimmage.'”

“I felt very frustrated being a girl from Los Angeles who loves soccer,” she continued.

“And we didn't have any teams, and then I moved to New York and then we had two teams and… it's nice to meet you, my name is Drew.”

But the talk show host soon regretted her decision to swipe right.

“He wasn't the quarterback of the LA Rams,” noting, “He's a musician who thought he was being cute.”

Drew expressed his frustration, saying, “The guy said, 'Hey, Drewski,'” he added.

“And I was like, 'I hate you. You're terse, you're sneaky, you're playful, you've made me feel stupid. I don't know who you are. I feel so stupid. Why did we have to start off on this foot? I hate you!'”

said co-host Ross Matthews, reacting to the incident. “You should feel lied to, robbed,” and he added, “I had this fantasy that you were like the new Taylor Swift and you would be at the games, right?”
