Rapper Sean Diddy Combs insists there's more to the viral video of him kicking, punching and dragging his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura than meets the eye.
The development of the case occurs after a member of his inner circle told him The charge That Comb, 54, still insists the abusive video doesn't tell the full story even after he publicly took responsibility for the misdemeanor.
“He is outraged. Especially about the video. He insists he doesn't tell the full story of what happened. “Not that he's excusing it, but he says it's a curated video,” the source said.
The source claimed that the Bad Boy Records founder may sense a strong agenda behind the incident that unfolded years later.
“Their position is that there was an agenda in posting the video when it was released,” the source continued.
“But ultimately, he knows that his big concern is the break-ins at his home; “Cassie’s video is just a distraction.”
More victims of sexual assault by Diddy filed lawsuits after the video was published by cnn on May 19.
In the video, Diddy can be seen chasing his ex-girlfriend who had tried to flee their hotel room at the now closed InterContinental Hotel in Los Angeles.
The video also shows the rapper punching Cassie and dragging her down the hallway. Footage from the hotel also saw him throwing a glass vase at her.
“My behavior in that video is inexcusable,” Combs later said in an Instagram video posted Sunday. “I take full responsibility for my actions in that video. I am disgusted,” he added.
