Cynthia Erivo recently shared the strange time she spent on her manicure at the 2025 Golden Globes on Sunday, January 5.
The 37-year-old actress, nominated for Best Actress for Wickedsaid Live from E!“This took five hours. My wonderful manicurist did it today.”
“I work. I'll answer my emails,” said Cynthia, who played Elphaba, the wicked witch in the musical film, adding, “I'll answer my texts. I'll watch some TV. It's a treat.”
The British actress walked the red carpet at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, wearing a custom Louis Vuitton dress, and also spoke about how her performance in the film had an impact on her red carpet style.
“Green is Elphaba's skin color, but what she wears a lot is black,” he said. Luther: the fallen sun noted the actress, adding: “So I've been trying to play with the shapes and structure of different types of black dresses.”
“We've been playing with it and adding green from time to time,” he further added.
Cynthia Erivo was nominated at this year's Golden Globe Awards for Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy for her role as Elphaba in Wicked.
However, she lost to Demi Moore for her role in the body horror film, The substance.
