Comic-with 2025: What panels to see on SDCC this weekend

It is that time again: San Diego Comic-Con is about us.

Comic-with 2025 officially begins on Thursday. More than 130,000 pop culture fans make the pilgrimage for the extravagance of four days at the San Diego Convention Center and its surroundings. The event, which originally focused on comics and their collectors, now covers a variety of media on television, cinema, games and more.

Activities for attendees include emerging windows, activations, autograph sessions and programming hours. There are selected panels here that this reporter expects. (The complete programming program is available at the Comic-Con International Site).

Thursday

Nickelodeon avatar: Airbender's last 20th anniversary
10 – 11 am

The cast and creators of “Avatar: The Last Airbender” meet to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the program. Will it be just a lookback or will they reveal what follows for the franchise?

Star Wars: Andor: from rebellion resistance

A deep immersion in season 2 of “Andor” with a panel of academics and authors who discuss the issues of the program, including resistance to authoritarianism and rebellion.

Star Trek Universe

A large presentation with panels for “Star Trek: Strange New Worlds” and the next “Star Trek: Starfleet Academy”.
