Chad Michael Murray just shed some light on what it's like to suffer from agoraphobia behind the scenes.
The One Tree Hill actor weighed in on everything during one of his most recent interviews with The Cut.
During that talk he expressed the truly debilitating nature of the whole thing and admitted that there were times when he felt like the “world was closing in” on him.
He began his admission by revealing that he was “much more fragile than he had ever seemed” at the time.
Recounting the whole thing, he said: “Everyone starts telling you 'Yes', but I was walking around with a really aching heart.”
“I was about 23 years old and had an event in Miami, but I couldn't leave my hotel room. The world seemed to be getting closer; I had anxiety attacks,” she began by admitting.
“I woke up and felt restless. I didn't like the direction I was taking my life. “I went to church, I got a cross tattooed on my left wrist and I thought: I'm going to move in faith.”
But “I stick to the things I believe in,” so “let's say if a piece of material fell on my desk, which has happened many times over the last 22 years, I don't necessarily feel like it's what I believe.” or what I’m selling, then that’s not for me.”
“I don't want to intervene in something that I don't believe in in any way, because it's going to destroy it for everyone else involved,” he also added during the course of his talk.
Before concluding, he also added: “If you don't fully love and embrace the character you are inhabiting, it will show on the screen. “I always want to give the best of me to the people I work with and to those who go to see the film.”
