Cassie's lawyer has criticized Sean 'Diddy' Combs' recent public apology video.
According to the Mirror report, Cassie's lawyer, Meredith Firetog, called Diddy's recent apology “pathetic desperation” in response to leaked footage from 2016, which shows the rapper assaulting her.
Controversy ignited when CNN published footage from 2016, which showed Diddy kicking and throwing objects at his ex-girlfriend, Cassie, in the hallway of a California hotel.
In response to that video, Diddy publicly apologized on his Instagram page, expressing remorse for his actions toward Cassie.
However, Cassie's attorney responded by criticizing Diddy's apology, stating, “Combs' most recent statement is more about himself than the many people he has hurt. When Cassie and many other women came forward, he “He denied everything and suggested his victims were looking for a payday.”
“That he was only forced to 'apologise' once his repeated denials were proven false shows his pathetic desperation, and no one will be swayed by his false words,” he added.
