Cardi B is responding to a report that claims Offset did not support the marriage that led to the Yellow Bodak The rapper will file for divorce.
Reacting to the news after it was shared by a social media user, the Grammy winner said: “OK, this is getting weird because I can say it helps me a lot with my business and with the kids.”
She continued: “I’ve never had friends or family go to the media in my career, no matter what I’ve been through, so I don’t know who this damn source is that goes to People magazine.”
She added: “Even with my presentation I am not asking for child support, my request is that he only pay the bills he already pays for the children and the new one.”
The day before, Cardi decided to end their six-year marriage by filing for divorce.
“It’s been a long and amicable process,” her rep told Us Weekly, stating that she wanted primary custody of their two children.
