Cara Delevingne went through some unforeseen “pain” while getting sober.
The 31-year-old model stopped drinking in 2022 and initially believed she would feel better in the mornings after going out and avoiding alcohol.
But it turned out quite the opposite: the next day he had “terrible” headaches because he only drank sugary soft drinks.
She revealed to Sun“Almost two years ago, when I got sober, I thought, 'I'm probably not going to go out as much, my life is probably going to change.'”
“And to be honest, I went out a lot more than before, which is great, except that when you go out, you drink a lot of sugar,” Cara added.
To her surprise, after going out for the night sober, Cara shared that she “woke up in the morning with a terrible headache.”
He Paper cities Star further said, “I am sober to be healthy and happy. Instead, I feel abandoned by pain.”
Hence, Cara came up with the idea of a non-alcoholic wine, “beautiful in flavour, high quality but low in sugar and few calories”, that won't give you headaches.
“I just like having something in my hand. For me, it was never about the alcohol,” Cara said.
And she recently launched non-alcoholic wine, Cara concluded: “It's not about being sober, it's about being yourself. “When I want to go out and have fun, I want to celebrate.”
