Bryce Dallas Howard has weighed in on the widely circulated conspiracy theory between Taylor Swift and 'Argylle.'

Bryce, who plays Elly Conway in the film, says Taylor was not involved in writing the book that inspired the film. However, she was the inspiration for Ella's character Elly.
Appearing on Friday's episode of The Graham Norton Show She said: “We can't pretend she was involved. The reality is that, in many ways, she was a great inspiration.”
He went on to lay out the similarities between Taylor and her character Elly, saying: “She's a cat lady. She has this amazing backpack with a cat inside. [it] with which she walks. “She loves a good argyle sweater and there's a kind of unapologetic silliness about her.”
“That's kind of what my character is like,” Bryce said.
The conspiracy theory surrounding the film was that the Grammy winner had a hand in writing the book. fans of the Karma The hitmaker found many things in the film that he thought were Easter eggs.
argylle Director Matthew Vaughn also recently debunked the theory.
He said: “I read the conspiracies and thought, 'Wow, they leave no stone unturned!' “added the filmmaker. “But it's not Taylor Swift. She definitely didn't write the book.”
argylle will be released in theaters on February 2 before streaming on Apple TV+ worldwide.
