Billy Ray Cyrus' ex-wife Firerose loses right to use his credit cards

Billy Ray Cyrus has been granted an emergency motion to stop his ex-wife Firerose from using his credit cards.

A Tennessee judge decided to do a legal U-turn, arguing that there was no more valid reason for him to continue having access.

The Williamson County judge found “no legitimate reason for [Firerose] access and make additional charges” on Cyrus’ cards, and banned Firerose from using them, effective immediately, according to People.

The decision comes after a July 1 hearing in which the judge asked both sides to exchange financial statements by July 11 and participate in mediation by the end of August.

Prior to this incident, the former couple had repeatedly accused each other, including allegations of financial mismanagement and emotional abuse.

However, Firerose claimed his innocence in the matter through a source, claiming that the judge found no wrongdoing on his part.

Cyrus had also made allegations of fraud and unauthorized spending after her divorce filing, claiming an estimated $96,000.

“Ms. Hodges was not authorized to use Mr. Cyrus' business credit card for the charges he made. To the extent that Mr. Cyrus had already notified American Express that the charges were being disputed as fraudulent since Ms.

“Since Hodges has never been an authorized user of his business credit card nor has he given authorization to make the charges he made on his credit card, the Judge entered a judgment to prohibit and restrict Ms. Hodges from accessing any of Mr. Cyrus' business or personal accounts.”

The divorce drama began nearly seven months after they exchanged vows when Cyrus quietly filed for divorce in May.
