“I found this list before I was rapping for Ye and I wrote it down. I wasn’t really into it, but I was really busy. I was in high school. I saw this list that said, ‘GOOD music, #1. #2 Roc-A-Fella. #3 Shady Records. #4 Grand Hustle. #5 Interscope,’” the 36-year-old rapper explained.

He continued: “I had a list of five labels I wanted to sign with. GOOD Music was number one, and I saw that and I was on that path. It was one of those omens, it was just a little thing I needed to realize: ‘I can do this, bro. I met Ye and rapped for him. He said he wanted to sign me. ’”
