As the 2024 US presidential election approaches, Joe Biden and Donald Trump are once again emerging as the front-runners after facing off in earlier polls.

Both candidates face significant challenges, including legal troubles for Trump and voter concerns about Biden's age and political record.

According to the source, Trump, who represents the Republican Party, is leading against Biden, who represents the Democratic Party, according to the latest polling averages. The former president leads with 46% of the vote, while the current president gets 44% of the average vote.

Following the first presidential debate between the two candidates on June 27, Biden's performance in the debate undermined his candidacy in the upcoming election.

Biden has been criticized for high inflation, major industrial policy bills and international issues during his presidency. Trump supporters, on the other hand, sought to overturn his 2020 election loss; he faces federal charges for his alleged role in the plot and has been convicted of a felony related to his 2016 presidential campaign.

Trump, meanwhile, has been an active member of the Republican Party, casting his endorsements in races across the country. His campaign is focused on similar themes as his previous campaign, emphasizing issues such as immigration, economic growth and national security.

Biden’s campaign line for his second term is simple: “You should vote for him because he’s not Trump.” He has promised to protect American democracy, pass laws supporting abortion rights, support global alliances and treaties, and meet climate goals in his second term.
