Bachelorette's Jenn Tran Slams Castmate Sam M on 'Men Tell All' Special

The single woman Contestant Sam M not only met an unfavorable fate on the show, but also received a reprimand from Jenn Tran.

The 26-year-old Bachelorette handed the first rose to Devin and the second to Marcus, sending semi-finalist Jonathan Johnson home.

The show has also moved on from its controversial special. Men tell everything where the Bachelorette's exes reunite for some reflection, which left Sam M with a long-awaited bitter truth in light of his elimination.

“We didn't have any conversations and he didn't really know me at all at the end of the day,” Jenn said as she took the stage after Sam talked about how much he loved her.

Jenn thought Sam had shown “blatant disrespect” toward the other men. “The whole time it was about you,” she continued.

Additionally, Jenn addressed statements Sam's loved ones made online about how he performed on the show.

“You’re a grown man and instead of taking responsibility for your actions, you decided to blame the producers, the editing, the TV show, whatever,” Jenn said. “And at the end of the day, the man on TV was the exact man I sat across from throughout the entire process.”

The physician assistant student told Sam she wanted him to “get better” after participating in the program.

“But if you don't step back and look at what you saw and take responsibility for your actions and grow and learn, then I feel really, really bad for whoever you end up with, because this crazy world that you're living in right now and this denial is not going to work for anybody,” Jenn warned her former suitor.

In turn, Sam expressed his gratitude towards Jenn for helping him grow. “I definitely missed out on some of those moments and I wish I could go back and redo them, honestly,” Sam told Jenn.

Before Jenn admitted it, Sam had claimed he loved her “100%” when he told her before he left. Sam, 27, also denied rumours that he came on the show hoping for Daisy Kent or Maria Georgas to be The Bachelorette.

“I remember telling my parents, ‘I honestly don’t think it would work with either of them,’” Sam said.

At another point in the show, the conversation turned to who Aaron, 29, thought had bad intentions in coming on the show, naming Devin, Sam M and Spencer.

In a separate statement issued to PeopleJenn also reflected on what it was like to face her former suitors in the Men tell everything special that aired on August 27.

“I've grown so much through this journey that I'm a very different person now than I was,” she told the outlet.

“I have a new sense of confidence and empowerment, and looking back on it all, there were definitely certain situations with [the guys] “That was very enlightening to me after the fact and I thought, ‘Oh, now I can pinpoint exactly what was wrong here and why I felt this way or why I didn’t stand up for myself.’”

In conclusion, she said she wants women around the world to realize that they should not accept anything less than what they deserve.
