Baby Reindeer's Jessica Gunning reveals the scene she found most nostalgic

Baby Reindeer star Jessica Gunning has her own favorites from the psychological thriller series.

Gunning, 38, who plays stalker Martha Scott, was alongside creator Richard Gadd, who plays comedian and bartender Donny.

While explaining how a scene from the Netflix The hit series relates to the “most liberating moment” of his life, he told the Reign with Josh Smith podcast, “Something big happened to me and maybe I'll just talk about it.”

“In fact, I came out of the closet in November of '22,” she added to give context to the scene that resonated with her.

“I told my family about it at Christmas that year and I slept like 10 hours a night. Yeah, because I thought, 'Oh, that's what this has been.' I guess it’s been like a little secret that I’ve even been keeping from myself,” she said.

Additionally, she weighed in on “the big moment” by revealing what encouraged her to officially redefine her reality in 2022.

“That was something very, very important to me because for a long time I was around gay people,” she said. “Like all my friends are homosexuals. So it wasn't that I was repressing anything. “I just didn't think I could be and I still can't put it in the best way.”

She claimed on the show that her feelings were too strong to deny after that. “I realized that he was a big gay man. I was like, that's what it's been. That’s what it is,” she told the host.

Before concluding, Gunning added: “And that was like a huge moment where everything clicked. And then I got my point because for a long time I thought, and I'm a bigger woman, that maybe it had to do with my size. But I felt a little bit almost strange or like he was following me.”
