Prince William and Kate Middleton to soon become king and queen amid King Charles' cancer diagnosis
Prince William and Kate Middleton have reportedly planned their coronation amid rumors that King Charles is under pressure to abdicate the throne.
Talking with In weekly contactA source close to the royal family said Charles “has a serious battle ahead of him and will have to focus on beating this cancer.”
Hence, the Prince and Princess of Wales would ascend to the throne sooner than expected for which they have already begun planning.

The source said William has already “taken more control at the palace, keeping in constant contact with Charles' aides,” adding: “He's basically the Firm's point man at the moment.”
As for Princess Kate, she's still recovering from her abdominal surgery, but the insider said she's ready to “step up,” adding that the Wals “have been preparing for this for years.”
“She is still recovering and isn't expected to be fully back in action until April,” the source shared. “The timing is not ideal, but she is ready to step forward. “They've both been preparing for this for years.”
The couple has also decided what their coronation will be like. Details will be revealed once Charles finalizes his plans, the source hinted.
