Andy Lee has shared new details about his wedding with his fiancée Rebecca Harding.
The comedian revealed in The Kyle and Jackie O Show on KIIS FM on Tuesday that he and Rebecca will not be getting married anytime soon.
She explained that they are currently in the process of renovating their historic $8.5 million Melbourne mansion and have not yet had the opportunity to plan a wedding.
The 43-year-old said: “The wedding is something we haven’t discussed at all. We’re trying to get it started, but I think it’s somewhere between inviting everyone and having a big party.”
According Daily MailAndy also stated: “Then we see the cost of that and the fact that we are trying to finish the house. And we think, ‘oh, maybe we will sneak in on our own. ’ But it won’t be anytime soon, though.”
Additionally, Andy also revealed that he waited so long to propose to Rebecca because he wasn't “excited about getting married.”
On this note, he admitted: “I didn’t really think it was something I needed to do. It was a waste of money and, to be honest, I’m a bit of a wedding Grinch.”
Lee continued, “I was surprised by what this does to a relationship. Even just being engaged. I think it makes you feel a little bit more like a team. So it’s been a lovely surprise.”
It is worth mentioning that Andy and Rebecca announced their engagement on May 1, after spending 10 years together.
