Alum “ Rhoc 'Lydia McLaughlin Mourning Brother murdered by police

Lydia McLaughlin of “The Real Housewives of Orange County” is crying the loss of his brother Geoff Stirling after the Newport Beach police fatally shot the 45 -year -old person by the Newport Beach police.

“My family has experienced an unimaginable loss. My brother, Geoff, was tragically taken and our hearts are destroyed,” McLaughlin wrote on Sunday on Instagram.

Stirling, a resident of Laguna Niguel, was arrested Thursday night for a traffic violation on his motorcycle, said Newport Beach Police Department in a press release.

“Shortly after being arrested, Stirling became little cooperative and assaulted the officer. During the violent altercation he followed, Stirling managed to eliminate the Taser issued by the officer's service belt department and tried to deploy him several times against the officer,” the department said. “At that time, a shooting involved by an officer occurred.”

The officers provided medical assistance on the site, according to the statement. Stirling was declared dead after being taken to the Hoag Hospital by personnel from the Newport Beach Fire Department.

“I can't believe we face this pain just 6 months after losing my best friend and mother,” McLaughlin wrote, referring to Mother Judy Stirling, who died last October after a private battle with breast cancer. “I know that both are with Jesus now, and he is walking with me through this darkness. One step at the same time.

“Thanks to all those who have been praying for us.”

A resident who refused to be identified due to privacy problems told the Daily pilot on Friday that he was in his second floor room near when he heard what sounded like shooting.

“Suddenly, the helicopters entered and had police sirens, then there were probably five shots, Bop Bop Bop Bop,” he said.

Stirling had been accused of a Crime incenant in March and was scheduled to appear for the reading of charges on Monday, the pilot said. It was not clear if the shooting had any connection with that appearance.

The state attorney general announced Friday that he was investigating the shooting, in line with the California law.

“Lydia – I am very sorry to hear the loss of your brother! My heart hurts for you and your family. Peace is with you”, the “Rhoc” star Vicki Gunvalson wrote in comments on a separate Instagram post on Good Friday.

McLaughlin was in “Rhoc” during his octaves and 12 seasons. These seasons were issued in 2013 and 2017, respectively.

Lizzie Rovzek, who appeared in scattered episodes in five seasons of “Rhoc”, wrote: “I love you so much. Love” in that publication, which included the prayer “Santa the broken heart and unites his wounds.”

The publication announced the death of Stirling that the comments went out.
