Rawalpindi: At least 29 people were killed while one person was injured after a passenger bus fell into a ditch, local sources said. Geo news on Sunday.
The bus was travelling with 30 passengers from Haveli Kahuta to Rawalpindi, the sources said, adding that the accident took place near Pana Bridge.
According to sources, the cause of the accident, which occurred in a mountainous area, is still unknown.
According to details, locals are recovering bodies from the bus and some have already been shifted to hospital, while police and rescue teams are on their way to the scene of the incident.
Kahuta is a tehsil in Rawalpindi district and is an hour away from the city.
