An 18-year-old youth died after being subjected to alleged violence by a fake spiritual healer in Takht Mahal area of ​​Bahawalnagar, police said. Geographic news.

According to the police, the youth was visiting the healer for spiritual treatment for a medical problem and was killed following the violence on Wednesday.

The police, on the other hand, registered a case against the suspect, thus launching investigation into the incident. The “healer” was also detained by the police.

“A case has been registered following the complaint of the youth's brother, investigation is underway,” police said.

The police further shared that Zulqarnain, the brother of the deceased teenager, told them that the quack named Pir Zaheer Ahmed came to their house a few days ago.

He told the young man's family that he was possessed by spirits, the family left him with the healer. But after learning of his brother's condition, Zulqarnain went to visit him on Wednesday and discovered that the teenager was dead.

The brother now alleges that the healer tortured and killed the 18-year-old and sought justice from the relevant authorities in power.
