The NFL is taking energetic measures against the resale of the Super Bowl tickets by players, coaches and employees of the club.

The League plans to fine more than 100 players and approximately two dozen employees of the club that was discovered that they violated the resale policy of NFL tickets in relation to the Super Bowl 59 tickets, according to an internal memorandum of the Director of Compliance with the League, Sabrina Perel, which was seen by CNBC.

An investigation found that these players and staff were selling these tickets to resell “Bundlers” with profits, according to the memorandum.

The players will be fined 1.5 times the nominal value of the tickets they sold, and the employees will be fined twice the nominal value, according to a person familiar with the matter that refused to be appointed to talk about non -public details.

The non -player personnel who are in violation of the policy will also lose the ability to buy future NFL tickets, according to the Memo.

The League prohibits employees and players from selling NFL game tickets acquired from their employer for more than the nominal value of the ticket or more than the employee originally paid, whatever less.

The League is also taking measures to improve compliance training before Super Bowl 60 and said it will increase fines for future crimes.

“No one should personally benefit from their affiliation to the NFL at the expense of our fans,” Perel wrote in the memorandum.
