An Israeli strike on a designated humanitarian zone in al-Mawasi has killed 90 Palestinians. Thousands of displaced Palestinians were sheltering there. The Israeli military says the target of the attack was Hamas military chief Mohammed Deif, but Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he was not sure Deif had been killed in the attack.
