Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump took aim at US President Joe Biden, calling him the “worst president” in the country's history.

The former US president, 77, hosted a watch event to commemorate the Super Tuesday primary election at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida. The US Sun reported.

After favorable results, Trump gave a victory speech at Mar-a-Lago in which he harshly criticized Biden, his Democratic presidential rival.

Trump, who defeated former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley in most states, criticized Biden for destroying what was built during the former president's time in office and vowed to take back the country.

“We are going to win this election because we have no other choice,” Trump said. “If we lose these elections we will have no country left.

“We've seen our country take a big beating over the last three years,” Trump said. “The world is laughing at us, the world is taking advantage of us.”

Trump also raised the issue of inflation, which he referred to as a “country destroyer.”

“Inflation is seen as a country destroyer and that's what it's doing to our country,” Trump said.

“What's happened with inflation has been incredible. Experts say the stock markets are the only thing that's working well, and that's working well because our poll numbers are much higher than Joe Biden's.

“He is the worst president in the history of our country; there has never been anything like what is happening to our country.”
