At least six people were found dead by authorities in the El Mirage desert area of San Bernardino County, according to the NBC Los Angeles report Wednesday as officials cordoned off the scene and launched an investigation.

The death toll was previously reported to be five, but was later raised to six when police found another body on Wednesday.
