In a tweet on the social network X, Walter Isaacson, Musk's biographer, offered a behind-the-scenes look at the modest home of the richest man on the planet.
He wrote in the caption: “Musk decided to sell his five large homes and have as his primary residence this spartan two-bedroom house in Boca Chica, TX, where we would meet and he would sit at this wooden table and make phone calls.”
The photo showed a section of Musk's living room and a basic open kitchen. A large men's jacket can be seen draped over one of the dining room chairs in the kitchen, while a wooden coffee table sits in the middle of the living room.
Isaacson said that in his next book, Elon Muskwhich will be published on September 12, will discuss why the billionaire decided to downsize.
In a June 2021 tweet, Musk wrote of his house: “It's something incredible.”
