Thailand's Constitutional Court has ordered the progressive Forward Party to be dissolved, saying it violated the constitution by promising to amend the country's lese majeste law that bans criticism of the royal family.
In a unanimous decision, the Bangkok court also banned the party's executive board, which includes its former leader Pita Limjaroenrat, for 10 years.
