“Aquarabia” will feature the world's first double water circuit, the tallest roller coaster and underwater adventure trips
Moving forward to achieve milestones in light of the Kingdom's ambitious 'Vision 2023', Saudi Arabia has announced the construction of a one-of-a-kind water theme park, the largest in the region, in the city of Qiddiya, which is located in the transformation phase. become one of the world's tourist attractions.
The “Aquarabia” water theme park project, which includes the world's first double water circuit and the tallest roller coaster with the highest jump, would be a cornerstone of its Six Flags Qiddiya City project, which targets visitors from around the world. world with 22 entertainment destinations and unparalleled aquatic experiences. It would also include the longest and tallest water race track and the tallest water slide, according to the Saudi Press Agencyadding that the project will be built by Saudi Arabia's Qiddiya Investment Co.
Furthermore, another feature of the upcoming project would be the first underwater adventure trip with diving vehicles, as well as designated water sports areas for rafting, kayaking, canoeing, free solo climbing and cliff jumping for adrenaline lovers.

Aquarabia will complement Qiddiya City's theme park offering with the previously announced Six Flags Qiddiya City, an exciting park that will push the boundaries of what is possible with twenty-eight attractions.
The water theme park will feature five world-record-breaking roller coasters spread across six unique themed terrains:
- Sirocco Tower: the tallest freestanding shooting tower in the world
- Gyropsin: the highest pendulum in the world
- Spitfire: the world's tallest inverted top hat roller coaster
- Iron Rattler: the world's tallest inclined roller coaster
- Falcons Flight: the tallest, fastest and longest roller coaster in the world that will run parallel to the F1 track.
Six Flags Qiddiya City, Kingdon's largest amusement park, and Aquarabia will be the first attractions to open to visitors in 2025, while final opening dates have yet to be revealed.
Both parks will maintain the highest level of sustainable practices, using innovative technology and design to implement best practices in water use and waste management.
The water theme park will use recycled water for irrigation and cooling of the park and, thanks to specialized filters, will be able to reduce water waste by up to 90% and minimize energy consumption.
Additionally, Six Flags Qiddiya City also aims to recycle operational waste with the goal of diverting more than 80% from landfills, ensuring a greener and more sustainable future for the region. Khaleej Times reported.
