A passenger at a U.S. airport was expelled for trying to use a travel trick he found on the Internet to avoid paying extra for an additional carry-on bag, the newspaper reported. Independent reported.

The incident that occurred at Orlando International Airport was captured on camera by a TikTok user named Natasha.

The video shows the passenger's attempt to get away with a travel trick that went viral on TikTok a few months ago. However, it all went horribly wrong and he ended up being escorted out of the airport by police officers.

The passenger had shown up to board his flight with a pillowcase in hand, filled with his belongings to avoid the airline's carry-on rules.

Natasha, who posted the video on her TikTok account, urged people to avoid these types of attacks as they can cause problems at the airport.

“Stop letting these social media sites give you tips and tricks because sometimes it's not going to work, okay?” Natasha can be heard narrating in the video.

“This guy was trying to grab a pillowcase full of clothes and other items, and claims it's just a pillowcase.”

She said the man was given the opportunity to pay for the additional items but he refused.

However, he agreed to pay the additional fee when the staff closed the door to board the plane, but it was too late.

On Reddit, anonymous users warned others not to try the trick, admitting that they knew people who hadn't gotten their way.

“I don't know. At the OFS, the porters told us that we had to put the pillows in the suitcases,” one person admitted.
