In a television talk show appearance Tuesday, Vice President Kamala Harris made offensive comments against Republican opponent Donald Trump over his questionable ties to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Referring to journalist Bob Woodward's upcoming book called “War,” in which he mentions that when the pandemic began, Trump sent rare COVID testing kits to Putin, Harris expressed her rage at the former president.

In a conversation with Stephen Colbert, Harris said, “Do you remember what those days were like? Remember how many people didn't get tested and were trying to fight to get tested?

“And this man is giving Covid test kits to Vladimir Putin? Think about what this means besides him sending love letters to [North Korean leader] Kim Jong Un. No, think about it. He thinks, well, that's his friend. What about the American people? They should be your first friends.”

The Democratic presidential candidate recalled the chaotic times of the pandemic when Americans, along with the rest of the world, were terrified by the global spread of COVID under President Donald Trump, when, according to Harris' statement, Trump exchanged COVID kits in high demand with Russia. at the cost of failing to fulfill his duty to American citizens.

It also raised questions about Trump's friendly tilt toward North Korean President Kim Jong-un, abandoning the interest of the American people, which should have been his first priority.

He added: “I'm going to tell you what some of the people at my rallies (by the way, quite a few people show up) already know, when they lost millions of jobs, they lost manufacturing, they lost auto plants, you lost the election. What makes you a loser? This is what someone at my rallies thought was funny.”

Harris called Trump a “loser” following his inability to maintain employment, production and, later, his ultimate defeat in the 2020 election. She also lightly criticized the presence of comparatively smaller crowds at Trump's rallies than at his.

On the other hand, a Republican spokesperson commented in response to the claims made against Trump in Bob Woodward's book that they are absolutely unfounded and “made up stories.”

Additionally, Harris also mentioned that the ceasefire agreement for the war between Hamas and Israel is also in the works and that the United States will eventually find a way to conclude a mutual agreement between both sides.
