President Joe Biden on Wednesday responded to presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump's call for a face-to-face debate as the election campaign heats up amid the former commander in chief's deepening legal troubles.

“Now act like you want to debate me again. Friend me for the day. I'll even do it twice,” said Joe Biden, who will face the criminally charged former president.

“I received and accepted an invitation from CNN for a debate on June 27. It's up to you, Donald. Like you said: anywhere, anytime, anywhere,” Biden said on X.

A Trump campaign also confirmed to the outlet that Trump had accepted the offer.
