More than 100 Palestinians have been killed and dozens wounded in an Israeli attack on a Gaza school housing displaced people, the official Palestinian news agency reported.
“The Israeli attacks targeted displaced people while they were performing Fajr (dawn) prayers, [which] “This led to a rapid increase in the number of victims,” the Gaza government media office said in a statement following the attack on Saturday morning.
In its statement, the Israeli military said its air force struck a “command and control center” that “served as a hideout for Hamas terrorists and commanders” and was also a shelter for residents of Gaza City.
The Israeli military provided no evidence to support its claims.
