Iran held a funeral for the country's most influential defense figure, Ali Shamkhani, who was killed in Israeli-US attacks on February 28. Shamkhani was a key figure in Iran's nuclear talks, head of the country's Defense Council and advisor to the late Supreme Leader. He lost a leg in an Israeli assassination attempt last June.
